Good lead capture systems offer such interfaces to the various CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics. Other CRM systems are also usually supported. Talk to your provider.

How do you proceed?

  1. Talk to the provider of your lead capture system. Ask them about their experience and technical approach. If they tell you about a generic API that they can easily customize to your individual needs and request a meeting with a technician from your side, you can trust that this company knows what they are talking about. Don’t trust any solution without the involvement of technicians!
  2. Tell the provider the name and version number of the CRM system you are using.
  3. Organize a (virtual) meeting with the technicians from both sides – from your side and from the side of the lead capture system. If you have a service partner who operates your CRM system, ask a technician from this service partner to attend and instruct the work on their side.
  4. Tell your technician what data you need from the trade fair lead app.
  5. The meeting with the two technicians will not take long. Thanks to your good preparation, competent technicians will quickly agree on which fields they need and how to match them.
  6. Ask the provider of the lead management system for a price offer for your interface. Normally, this should not be more than 2000 EUR fix net price including all documentation for your technician.
  7. Make sure that there is a technician available from your company or your CRM service partner to integrate the interface on your side.
  8. You can get started.
